At St Patrick’s, we have a thriving and vibrant Foundation stage which comprises of a Reception class and a Nursery. We believe every child is created in the image of Christ and should be respected, welcomed and valued in order to be able to Shine in the Light of Christ. We are committed to nurturing children through the Catholic faith whilst fostering a love for learning. We aim to support children to build friendships and enjoy every minute of their schooling life. We work hard to promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through a variety of activities including act of worship, RE sessions and circle times.

Our Foundation stage unit works alongside each other enabling children to move freely between excellent indoor and outdoor provision. Every child will also take part in small grouped focused Phonics and Maths sessions. During their sessions, they will also receive a teacher-led input and a differentiated activity. We also support the children through other subjects such as RE, topic and PE.
