We know this will cause a lot of disruption for many of you and appreciate how well you have worked with us during this difficult time. We now have to follow government instruction in closing the school to the majority of pupils. The announcement from the government has been a last minute to schools as well as parents and if there are any changes to the above plans we will notify you as soon as possible. Information will be sent to you tomorrow about distance learning for your child.

Thank you as always for your ongoing support.

Letter from CEO – January School Closures

“The government has asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend.”

If you need to contact school please email use to contact staff. Additionally, between 9am-3pm we are trying to answer calls to the school office on 0115 915 2961 whilst we have staffing levels to maintain this. Seesaw should be used to communicate about learning only, if you have other questions, please use the admin email address or call.

For our distance learning we will be using Seesaw and Teams. Your child should already have their seesaw login details as we’ve been using it for homework but if you need to access your login codes please call the school office.

This video should help you to log on to Seesaw and begin using activities.

This Video should help with logging in and accessing Teams for live lessons.

Please see our parent and pupil guides for accessing remote learning for more information.
